At the same time, Sukhbir Badal has been taken under tight security. Heavy police force has been deployed on the spot.

Akali leaders accused of breaking brotherhood

Top officials of the police department, Akali Dal supporters and family members of Sukhbir Badal have reached the spot. Police are investigating the attack. The name of the attacker is being told as Narayan Singh Chauda. Akali leaders allege that efforts are being made to eliminate the Akali leadership. Efforts are being made to break the Hindu Sikh brotherhood in Punjab. Sukhbir Badal’s service will continue. He is not afraid of anyone. The service will be performed as per the orders issued by Shri Akal Takht Sahib. Those working against Shiromani Akali Dal will be taught a lesson.

Sukhbir Badal was punished by Akal Takht

Former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal and cabinet ministers Bikram Majithia, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Prem Singh Chandumajra, Surjit Singh Rakhra, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema and Mahesh Inder Grewal during the Shiromani Akali Dal government between 2007 and 2017 were given religious punishment. The sentence has been pronounced. A meeting of 5 Singh Sahibans of Sri Akal Takht Sahib was held on Monday. In this meeting everyone was sentenced on charges of religious misconduct. On 30 August 2024, Sukhbir Singh Badal was declared ‘tankhaiya’ (guilty of religious misconduct).
