Delhi Assembly Election 2025: In the hot seat Kalkaji, Delhi, rapid decisions are being taken by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party regarding the assembly elections. The poster war continues. AAP MLAs have intensified public relations campaigns in their respective areas. The candidates of Congress and BJP are busy setting their sights.

There is a lot of discussion after former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal announced to pay the salaries of the priests of Delhi’s temples. Last time, the salary facilities etc. of the Imams of mosques were increased, now the question is arising in the minds of the public whether such a step is being taken only to woo the voters.

Well, now the discussion is about hot seat Kalka ji. Where the direct contest is between Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and former MP Ramesh Bidhuri. Whereas Congress has given candidature to its dynamic leader Alka Lamba. Total voters in Kalkaji are 1,85,837. In which the number of male voters is 1.03,535 and female voters are 82,296. This seat has also come into discussion because while Ramesh Bidhuri commented on Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, he directly attacked Atishi. Regarding which it was also said that such comments could prove costly for BJP.

Kalkaji seat has been formed by combining three wards Srinivaspuri, Govind Puri and Kalkaji. Not only are there many posh areas in this area, slums remain a problem in many areas. The biggest problem is parking and encroachment on all the seats of this Vidhansabha, about which the local people are continuously complaining. The problem of drinking water and waterlogging also persists. There is also a problem of sewerage in Gandhi Camp area in this assembly for which no solution has been found for years. Due to which there is anger among the local people.

The specialty of this seat is that veteran Congress leader Subhash Chopra was MLA from here thrice. Later served as state president of Congress. But Congress could not achieve any significant victory. Subhash Chopra had won in 1998,2000 and 2008. After this, Aam Aadmi Party’s Avtar Singh had won in 2015, after which Atishi is the MLA from here in 2020.

The specialty of Chief Minister Atishi is that she is constantly connected with the people in her area. This is their biggest plus point. Always ready to solve even the smallest problems. But ever since BJP declared Ramesh Bidhuri as its candidate, it started being discussed that this time Atishi will have to struggle a lot to win this seat. If we look at the victory margin of the last assembly, Atishi had won by a huge margin. While Aam Aadmi Party got 55,897 votes, BJP got 44,504 votes. Congress got only 4965 votes. While BJP got 41.63 percent votes, Aam Aadmi Party got 52.28 percent votes.

Local people say that this time BJP will win because the way Aam Aadmi Party has been accused of corruption, it seems that Aam Aadmi Party will be on the margins. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, resident of East of Kailash, says that this time the discussion is about BJP as BJP has made a very good road map. However, Kalka ji resident Ravish Roshan said that Aam Aadmi Party has done a lot of work in this area and Atishi had won last time with a huge margin. Will win this time also.

However, there is a lot of activity in Kalkaji area. There has been a lot of discussion in the assembly parks since the way Atishi held a press conference regarding her comments on her father. But the public now wants to give a chance to BJP. BJP leaders will have to refrain from making statements.
