Aam Aadmi Party has released the second list of its candidates for Delhi Assembly elections 2025 on Monday. The names of candidates for 20 assemblies have been announced in this list. Among these, the party has made Adil Ahmed Khan its candidate from Mustafabad assembly seat. Let us tell you that earlier AAP had released the list of its 11 candidates. There are total 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Let us tell you that there were riots in Mustafabad assembly constituency in February 2020, at that time Haji Yunus was the AAP MLA from here. In the same area, Aam Aadmi Party member and local corporation councilor Tahir Hussain is accused of instigating riots. Now the party has fielded a new face, Adil Ahmed. Who is Adil Ahmed Khan?
According to the information, Adil Ahmed Khan is the national executive member of Aam Aadmi Party. He was born in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, his father retired as a manager in a government bank. It is said that he completed his education till class 8 in his village Jokha Salarpur. After this he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lucknow University. Now it has to be seen whether he will be able to continue the old faith of AAP in the people of Mustafabad. Adil has taken up many responsibilities
Adil was previously the Chairman of Asia’s largest wholesale fruit and vegetable market, APMC (MNI), Azadpur. He has worked as the coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. The second assembly in the second list of AAP which is in the most discussion is the Patparganj assembly seat of East Delhi.
Manish Sisodia had won by a slight margin in the last election.
Manish Sisodia, the currently winning MLA from Patparganj assembly seat and former Deputy CM, has been transferred to Jangpura assembly. It is being told that AAP has taken this decision due to being stuck in the liquor policy, winning the last election by just three thousand votes and due to the displeasure of the people in the assembly constituency.
