New Delhi, 6 May (IANS). Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has decided to conduct caste census in the country. Sunil Yadav, president of the OBC Morcha of Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party, anointed the Prime Minister’s poster at Connaught Place on Tuesday with milk and thanked him.
At Connaught Place, BJP workers distributed sweets to the people and offered milk and wreath on PM Modi’s poster. During this, slogans were also raised in favor of the government. BJP Delhi OBC Front President Sunil Yadav thanked the Union Cabinet and Prime Minister Modi for the decision -making decision.
Talking to news agency IANS, Sunil Yadav said, “It is a very historic day. The decision to conduct caste census in the country is a very good decision for the society. It was decided to conduct caste census from the time of British rule and it was decided to do it every 10 years, because many things change in 10 years.”
Describing the caste census as beneficial for the society, he said, “There are many types of castes in the Hindu-dominated country. Everyone has different demands and needs. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay used to say that until the person standing on the last rungs of the society cannot develop, the country cannot develop. PM Modi is working in this field.
He said, “PM Modi is working keeping everyone’s development in mind.
On the question of taking a decision under pressure from the opposition, the BJP leader said, “The opposition himself is feeling pressure. He is unable to get up from the last three elections. PM Modi does not work under pressure, he only works for the people of the country.”
