Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was sworn in as a member of Delhi Assembly on Monday. Earlier, Gupta was seen reaching the Delhi Assembly for the first session of the eighth assembly, where he was showing a sign of victory with confidence.
Delhi Minister Pravesh Verma shared his message to the people of Delhi at the inauguration of the assembly. He assured that the new government would meet his expectations and fulfill all the promises made during the election campaign.
He said, “I want to tell the people of Delhi that our government will meet your expectations. Whatever election promises we have made. I also want the support of the opposition party. We want Delhi to have new heights to Delhi To take it, I do not claim that we will make Delhi like Paris or London, but we will ensure that we develop Delhi. “

Meanwhile, the first session of the eighth assembly has begun. On Monday, BJP MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely was sworn in as Protem Speaker at Raj Niwas. Lt. Governor VK Saxena administered him the oath.
After this, the election of the Speaker will be held at two in the afternoon. Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra expressed his views and described this day as historic.

According to the Delhi Assembly Bulletin, the Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena will address the assembly on 25 February, after which the report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) will be presented. Later on the same day, the assembly will open the platform for a vote of thanks on LG’s address.
On February 26, the discussion will begin at 11 am on the vote of thanks, after which the election of the Deputy Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly will be held.
