Delhi Election 2025 : The dates for the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi may not have been announced, but political parties have started showing their colours. Both Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party have started trying political tricks to capture power in Delhi. At the same time, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party is making efforts for its comeback, although it seems to be trapped in its own web. The nervousness before the elections is clearly visible among the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party, surrounded by corruption allegations. Sometimes he is seen blaming Congress and sometimes BJP.
The Aam Aadmi Party, which emerged from the anti-corruption movement, first contested the assembly elections in Delhi in 2013, since then it has been in power. The ruling party Aam Aadmi Party, its chief Arvind Kejriwal and many leaders are facing allegations of corruption. Now Arvind Kejriwal is talking about public court to prove himself and the party innocent. He says that if the public votes for him in the elections, then only he will sit on the CM’s chair and he will consider himself innocent. At the same time, before the elections, both BJP and Congress are busy cornering him and are continuously attacking him.

In Delhi, both Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are contesting elections separately, while both the parties are part of the India Alliance. Before the elections, tensions between the two parties are increasing, now the Aam Aadmi Party is demanding to oust Congress from the India alliance. Actually, this tension is more regarding the New Delhi Assembly elections, because the Congress Party has fielded former CM Sheila Dikshit’s son Sandeep Dikshit from this seat and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal is also in the fray from this seat.
According to sources, Bharatiya Janata Party also wants to field Pravesh Verma, son of former CM Sahib Singh Verma, from New Delhi Assembly. Pravesh Verma is also considered a big leader in Delhi politics. In such a situation, Kejriwal’s problems may increase on this seat. However, Aam Aadmi Party has also accused Pravesh Verma of distributing notes in exchange for votes. A complaint has also been lodged against him with ED.
At the same time, Congress has made many allegations against Aam Aadmi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party by issuing a white paper. Congress leader Ajay Maken said that forging alliance with Aam Aadmi Party was his biggest mistake. He said that Kejriwal is not a trustworthy person, he has no ideology. He has called Kejriwal an anti-national. Aam Aadmi Party is furious with this statement.

He said that the list of Congress candidates has been prepared by BJP. AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that Congress leader Ajay Maken is reading the script of BJP.
