Delhi Politics: During the Delhi elections, the round of political attacks between Congress and Arvind Kejriwal has intensified. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, while visiting Delhi on Tuesday, directly attacked Arvind Kejriwal and cornered him on the issue of Delhi’s filth. Rahul Gandhi shared a video on social media platform
This statement of Rahul Gandhi is further intensifying the attack of Congress against Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Actually, Rahul Gandhi is continuously targeting Arvind Kejriwal and his party. He launched the Congress election campaign in Seelampur on Monday, where he attacked Kejriwal, saying the Delhi government did not do anything concrete in the name of development. Comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kejriwal, Rahul also said that both the leaders have maintained silence on the caste census as they are not ready to give their due share to the backward classes, Dalits, tribals and minorities.
Rahul taunted
In the video, Rahul Gandhi shows the condition of filth and drains in an area of Delhi and says, “This is shining Delhi. Delhi is like Paris. The condition is the same everywhere.” During this, a local party leader is seen saying to Rahul, “Brother, I have sought time from the LG to complain about this. How did the wall of the drain collapse within 6 months, there is corruption in it.”
This attack by Rahul Gandhi is part of the Congress’s strategy against the Kejriwal government, in which he is trying to corner Kejriwal on the issue of Delhi’s development. An attempt is being made to tell the people of Delhi that the Kejriwal government did not take any concrete steps in the development of the city and only focused on publicity. This step of Congress is a big political step towards challenging Kejriwal and his party in view of the Delhi Assembly elections.
