Congress on Friday alleged that in the last 10 years, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) together with Delhi have committed ‘double fraud’ and for this ‘act of fraud’ (act of fraud) the National Assembly has been booked. The people of the capital will not forgive these two parties.
Party’s media department head Pawan Khera, while indirectly mentioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, also claimed that Delhi has become a football in the wrestling match between ‘Bade Miyan’ and ‘Chhote Miyan’.
Speaking to reporters at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office, Khera mentioned various guarantees announced by the Congress in the assembly elections and said that only his party can fulfill the election promises.
Voting for all 70 assembly seats of Delhi is to be held on February 5. Counting of votes will take place on February 8.
Kheda said, “Many times it happens that a house gets destroyed due to flood, storm or fire, we call it ‘Act of God’. What started happening with Delhi in the year 2013-2014 was ‘Act of Fraud’. This was a ‘double fraud’, which was done by the AAP government in Delhi and the BJP government at the Centre.” He said, ”Today when we see the condition of Delhi, our eyes become moist. This Delhi is our home. Our dreams were fulfilled by this city.”
Kheda claimed, “Today the condition of Delhi’s roads and parking is bad, drug addiction is increasing, health care is in poor condition and pollution is increasing. Delhi was left in ruins.
He claimed, ‘Here if you look right, you see ‘Sheesh Mahal’ and if you look left, you see ‘Raj Mahal’. At the same time, when we ask for accountability, the ‘elder Miyan’ says that the ‘small Miyan’ is accountable and the ‘small Miyan’ says that the ‘elder Miyan’ is accountable. Due to the wrestling match between these two, Delhi has become like a football.” He said that now Delhi will not tolerate it any more, hence it is looking towards Congress.
