The outgoing Chief Minister of Delhi, Atishi, said on Friday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs have created “internal tussle” over the allocation of departments. Atishi, while addressing reporters, claimed that BJP leaders were “quarrel” over the post of minister in the greed of public money. He alleged that the BJP had no intention of fulfilling the promises made in its election manifesto.
Atishi said, “We have come to know from our sources that the BJP is planning to blame the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to fail to fulfill the promises. They will claim that the Delhi government has no money due to the previous AAP government. ”He highlighted the ‘AAP’ government’s financial ‘track record’ and said that Delhi’s budget was Rs 31,000 crore in 2014-15 which was 2024- The 25 has increased to Rs 77,000 crore.
Atishi said, “Delhi’s budget has increased by 2.5 times in the last 10 years. The government led by Arvind Kejriwal has also repaid the debt inherited from the previous Congress government.
He demanded that the BJP implement all its promises without any delay, especially the promise to give Rs 2,500 per month to women. The BJP, which has won a stunning 70 -member Delhi assembly elections recently, has not yet announced its Chief Minister and Council of Ministers. The party won 48 seats, while AAP was reduced to 22 seats, which is much lower than the 62 seats of 2020.
