Delhi new CM: The BJP has won a huge victory in the results of the Delhi assembly elections, and with this the BJP’s 27 -year exile in Delhi’s power has ended. Now there are constant meetings in BJP about the new Chief Minister of the state. Union Minister Harsh Malhotra also attended this meeting. Meanwhile, there are indications that the BJP will not take the name of an MP for the Chief Minister, but can decide to make any one of the electoral MLAs the Chief Minister.
BJP national president JP Nadda is constantly interacting with the winning MLAs. The leaders whose names are being prominently revealed for the Chief Minister include Rekha Gupta, Ashish Sood, Satish Upadhyay and Shikha Roy. Since Saturday, there have been several meetings between RSS and top BJP leaders, in which Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh discussed the leaders who joined the cabinet.

In the structure of the new cabinet, various groups including Punjabi, Bania, Purvanchali communities will be represented keeping in mind the social fabric of Delhi. Also, representation for women, SC, OBC and Brahmin communities will also be ensured.
Criteria for selection of CM
Among the criteria for the selection of the Chief Minister, the age of the leaders, his public image and local identity are being considered important. A BJP leader has confirmed that the post of Chief Minister will not be given to any MP, but only an existing MLA. However, a senior leader also said that the party has not recently closed the doors of incorporating defectors, such as Arvinder Singh Lovely, in the cabinet.
