Delhi Police registered a case of violation of model code of conduct against Chief Minister Atishi

Delhi Police on Tuesday registered a case against Chief Minister Atishi for violation of model code of conduct and preventing public servants from performing duties. An official gave this information.

Chief Minister Atishi is a candidate for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from Kalkaji assembly seat in Delhi. The police officer said, “We have lodged an FIR against the ‘AAP’ candidate from Kalkaji under various sections and further investigation.”

He said that this action was taken when ‘AAP’ candidates reached Fateh Singh Marg with 50-70 supporters and 10 vehicles. He said that the police directed Atishi to vacate the area as per the guidelines of the Model Code of Conduct but he stopped an officer from performing his duties.

Through a post on the social media forum ‘X’, Atishi targeted the Election Commission and alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ramesh Bidhuri and his family members are openly “hooliganizing” but no action Went, while a case has been registered against him.
