While the BJP has not yet disclosed its candidate for CM, a total of four women candidates have won the assembly elections.
These are – Rekha Gupta, who defeated AAP’s Bandana Kumari with 68,200 votes in Shalimar Bagh seat. Shikha Roy defeated AAP Saurabh Bhardwaj with 49,594 votes on Greater Kailash seat. Poonam Sharma secured a total of 54,721 votes in Wazirpur seat. Neelam Pahalwan defeated AAP’s Tarun Kumar with 1,01,708 votes on Najafgarh seat.
