Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Friday that his government is making every effort, including installing automatic pumps at sensitive places and deploying employees at sensitive places to get rid of the national capital during the monsoon.
In order to take stock of the monsoon preparations, the Chief Minister inspected the Minto Bridge underpass with waterlogging. During this, he was also accompanied by Minister of Public Works Department (PWD) Pravesh Verma.
“During heavy rains, automatic pumps have been installed here for drainage during heavy rains and a 2.5 km long pipeline has been laid.” Employees will also be on duty all the time. ”
Sensitive places have been identified and corrective measures are being taken.
He told reporters that the Delhi government will take every step in a timely manner to ensure that there is no waterlogging this year.
