Raipur, March 11 (IANS). State Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw has reacted to the raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the house of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. He said that the ED’s action has been going on for a long time and it is only a general check -up process, which is being done by the ED on the basis of facts.
Deputy Chief Minister Saw said that ED is a constitutional institution, and everyone should cooperate in the investigation. He also clarified that the facts on which investigation is being done can only tell the investigating agency. Apart from this, he also said that Bhupesh Baghel’s son should also understand the investigation process of ED. Saw said that the investigating agencies are doing their work, and the uproar that is being created at this time is not appropriate.
The Deputy Chief Minister alleged that some people are creating unnecessary ruckus about this investigation, while this is a general and legal process. He believed that no upheaval should be made about such incidents. He appealed to everyone that the justice process should be helped and cooperated in the investigation, so that the correct result can be reached.
After this, he said on the attack on ED team while leaving Bhupesh Baghel’s house that this work is condemnable. No one should interfere in the work of the investigating agency. He also added that negligence in the case could be revealed, and it should be fully noticed so that it can work impartially.
