West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday urged the people to get up in such an inspiration that can provoke communal riots.
Banerjee emphasized that his government would stand with the people of the state and ensure that no one can create tension in the state.
Addressing the program of Eid prayers on ‘Red Road’ here, the Trinamool Congress chief said, “Efforts are being made to incite riots, please do not get caught in this type of trap. The West Bengal government stands with minorities. No one can cause tension in the state. ”
Banerjee also targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said, “If they (BJP) have problems with minorities, will they change the constitution of the country?”
She reiterated the BJP’s opposition to the “divisive politics” of the BJP and said that she believes in respecting all religions. The Chief Minister called the “divisive politics of BJP” such “Jumla Politics”, which aims to divide people.
