Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including President Draupadi Murmu, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress Party National President Mallikarjun Kharge greeted on Monday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The Prime Minister wrote in a post on social media, “Congratulations to Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival should increase the feeling of hope, harmony and kindness in our society. Happiness and success in all your efforts.
President Draupadi Murmu also greeted the occasion.
The President wrote in Urdu on social media, “Congratulations to all the countrymen, especially Muslim brothers and sisters on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival strengthens the spirit of brotherhood and gives a message to adopt compassion and charity.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also greeted his best wishes. On social media, he wrote, “Eid Mubarak! This happiness opportunity brought peace, happiness, prosperity and good health to you and your loved ones.”
Congress President Malikarjun Kharge also greeted her heartfelt greetings. She wrote in a post on social media that Eid awakens the spirit of brotherhood, compassion and all.
The post reads, “On this happy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, I wish my fellow citizens heartfelt.
Eid strengthens the values of charity, kindness and compassion. Apart from giving zakat, many people prefer to help others, such as providing food, clothes and help to less lucky people, which reflect Islamic principles of sympathy and care towards others.
