Election Politics: Political parties have put in all their strength for the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections. The first phase of voting in Jharkhand will be held tomorrow i.e. on November 13, while in Maharashtra, voting will be held in a single phase on November 20. During the election campaign in both these states, CM Yogi Adityanath’s slogan ‘Bantenge to Katenge’ has been in discussion the most. Regarding this slogan, Mallikarjun Kharge had attacked CM Yogi and said that this cannot be the language of a saint. Now CM Yogi has also launched a befitting reply.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed an election rally in Achalpur, Maharashtra on Tuesday. Responding to the statement of Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, he said that instead of being angry at us, one should be angry at the Nizam of Hyderabad, whose Razakars had burnt your house and village. Hindus were killed brutally. Your respected mother, sister and family members were burnt to death. He should put this truth before the country, but if he tells this then his vote bank will slip.
…that’s why I say don’t divide
During the public meeting, CM Yogi made a strong attack on Congress by referring to history. He said that elections are important for us. There are many such elections in it, which make or break the fate of the country. One such election was held in 1946, which changed the fortunes of the country to misfortune. He unfortunately became the leader of our country, then due to greed for power, Congress got trapped in the clutches of Muslim gang. What happened after this is in front of you. The country of India, which was united from the beginning, was divided into pieces. He said that this was possible because you were divided. Hindus were killed because you were divided. That’s why I have come to tell you not to divide… stay united.
What did Kharge say?
Let us tell you that Mallikarjun Kharge attacked Yogi Adityanath during an election rally in Jharkhand on Sunday. He said that many leaders live in the guise of saints and have now become politicians. He said that I would tell BJP to either wear white clothes or if you are a Sanyasi then wear ‘saffron’ clothes, but then get out of politics. He said that on one hand you wear ‘saffron’ clothes and on the other you say ‘if you divide, you will reap’. He said that this cannot be the language of a saint. He had accused CM Yogi of spreading hatred and trying to divide.
