'Even the Supreme Court does not consider Arvind Kejriwal fit to be CM', why did the Congress leader say so?

New Delhi, September 15 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while addressing the workers at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters on Sunday announced his resignation after two days. After this, politics has heated up. Congress leader Sandeep Dixit said that he should have resigned much earlier. Now this resignation has no meaning.

Sandeep Dixit said in an exclusive interview with IANS, “This resignation has no meaning. This resignation should have been given long ago. He became the Chief Minister by giving moral medicine, but he did not show any glimpse of it. What has the Supreme Court said while granting bail, when a Chief Minister gets bail for the first time, he is told that you cannot go to the office, you cannot meet the officials, you cannot sign any file there.”

He said the Supreme Court does not trust Arvind Kejriwal. It openly stated that this is a man who in its view is “not fit to be the chief minister at this time”.

When asked about the next Chief Minister, the Congress leader said that he should keep a liquor bottle on the table and work as Chief Minister with it.

When asked about the election campaign in Haryana, he said that wherever Arvind Kejriwal goes, he campaigns against the Congress. There too, he will campaign to stop the Congress.”

Earlier, Chief Minister Kejriwal, who was recently released on bail, while addressing party leaders today said, “When I was in jail, the BJP people asked why Kejriwal did not resign from his post. They filed cases against all the opposition members. Today, we have been able to do so much for Delhi because we are honest. These people are afraid of our honesty because they are not honest.”

He declared, “Today I have come to the court of the people. I have come to ask you whether you consider Kejriwal honest or guilty. After two days I am going to resign from the post of CM. I will not sit on the CM’s chair until the people give their verdict. You will give your verdict and then I will go and sit on that chair. You must be thinking that why am I saying this now, they have accused me that Kejriwal is a thief, corrupt, I did not come for this work.”
