Every member of JPC has the right to speak: Syed Naseer Hussain

जेपीसी में हर सदस्य को बोलने का अधिकार : सैयद नसीर हुसैन

New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS) Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain has hit back at BJP leaders over their opposition to the matter of taking the Waqf Board to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC).

While talking to IANS, he said, “The Parliament has formed the JPC, not one person. The Parliament has approved it. After that the JPC was formed. Every member of the JPC has the right to present his views and speak. He has the right to ask questions on the issues that come up. Those who feel that the bill is wrong will definitely talk about it.”

After this, while responding to Mohan Bhagwat’s statement on development in India, he said, “Where is development happening in India? Development has stopped at the place where we stopped it in 2014. You tell me in which area development has taken place? In which area have they progressed? How many new hospitals were built? How many new highways were built? These people sold railways, sold oil, sold roads, sold airports, sold water, sold everything. Now where is the progress happening? Are they filling the coffers of their friends by selling everything? It is obvious that the opposition parties will raise the issue of the public. If the RSS is with them even after selling everything, then we cannot say anything about it.”

It is known that on Monday, Mohan Bhagwat had said that some elements do not want India to develop. Those people are creating obstacles in the path of the country’s development. Mohan Bhagwat further said that you do not need to be afraid of such elements. In his address, Mohan Bhagwat also gave the example of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s time and said that a similar situation had arisen during the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but even then it was dealt with using the power of religion.
