New Delhi, 22 February (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed the public from her residence on Saturday. He said that whatever promises we have made, it will be fulfilled at all costs.
He pointed to the people and said that I would like to thank all of you that you supported me. Because of this I have got a chance to serve you people.
On being made the Chief Minister, thanking PM Modi, he said that it is the blessing of the Prime Minister that Delhi’s daughter got such a great honor.
After this, he pointed to the people and said in a questioning tone that your blessings are with me, right? So on this, people said yes and raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
He assured the people that the problem is of a few days which will automatically go away. I want to put in the good of the people of Delhi one day.
The CM also spoke of moving forward on the path of duty after the oath. Said, we took oath the day after tomorrow. After this, the cabinet meeting was held on the same day. After the swearing in, we implemented the Ayushman scheme in our first meeting. This scheme was stopped by the previous government, but we implemented it, so that every person in Delhi could ensure health protection.
He further said that today is the third day. I am constantly meeting with officers of all departments in the secretariat and ensuring that no work stops. I assure that not a single day of the people of Delhi will be wasted. Every day will be consumed in the interest of the people of Delhi. We have only one mission.
He said that I would like to thank all of you that you guys have come from far and wide to support me.
