Farmers broke police barricade, not satisfied with High Power Committee report

Noida, October 23 (IANS). Farmers have demonstrated outside the Noida Authority regarding their demands. Under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Union Manch, farmers reached Haraula Baraat house at 1 pm. From here the farmers marched on foot and reached the authority. Here an attempt was made to stop the farmers by placing barricades on the main road. There was a scuffle between the farmers and the police here. After this the farmers broke the barricades.

Farmers came on the road to the authority. All the gates of the authority were closed in a hurry. After this the farmers sat on the road there. The farmers did not calm down the uproar. Some farmers climbed onto the roof of the authority. The farmers put their flag there. After the police administration explained, the farmers calmed down and sat on a dharna on the road outside the authority.

The farmers clearly said that they are not satisfied with the report of the High Power Committee. According to the farmers, their demand is for 10 percent developed land and additional compensation at the rate of 64.7 percent. This has been rejected by the High Power Committee. In such a situation, the protest will continue until the demand is met.

Sudhir Chauhan, national president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Manch, said that Noida Authority officials should tell in what form and to what extent the agreements made with farmers were implemented. Until these agreements are fully implemented in the Noida Authority, the Bharatiya Kisan Union Forum will continue to hold an indefinite protest at the gate of the Noida Authority.

Ashok Chauhan, national media in-charge of Bharatiya Kisan Union Manch, said that the farmers who have not received the original 5 percent plots. All those farmers should be given original plots of 5 percent, all those farmers whose court orders have come, all those farmers should be given additional 5 percent plots or money, all 81 villages should be developed on sector lines, all the farmers Since 1997, 64.7 percent compensation and 10 percent developed plots should be given.

Apart from this, make a complete solution to the population of farmers in all 81 villages of Noida by increasing the population from 450 meters to one thousand meters, allot plots of quota scheme to all the farmers from 1976 to 1997, implement ownership scheme in the villages of Noida Authority. Yes, there is also a demand to end the map policy in the village.
