Qureshi told ‘PTI-language’ that he had met Chawla about 10 days ago, at that time Chawla told him that he was being admitted to the hospital for brain surgery.

Qureshi said, “He died at Apollo Hospital this morning.” He said that he was very happy when he met him for the last time. In addition, an Election Commission official also confirmed Chawla’s death.
