Ayodhya News: The seminar was organized on Saturday at Babu Indra Bahadur Singh Memorial College, Amaniganj in Milkipur assembly constituency of Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. Former MP Lallu Singh, the chief guest of the program, said that ‘one country, one election’ will save time, money and resources in the country.
Repeated elections affect administrative staff, educational institutions and economic activities. If elections are held simultaneously in the whole country, then there will be continuity in development works and the public’s confidence will be strong.
Democracy will be stronger with ‘one country, one election’
The former MP said that in a huge democracy like India, elections are held every year, which gives unnecessary pressure on the governance system. With the elections simultaneously, governments will be able to put their entire energy in development works and democracy will be even stronger. He called upon the youth to think deeply on this subject and spread awareness.
The program was chaired by Rakesh Singh, the convenor of the program was former Divisional President Devendra Singh. A large number of teachers, advocates, college students and BJP officials and workers were present on the occasion.
