According to the Home Ministry, Dr. Singh’s last rites will be performed with full military and state honors. The Defense Ministry has been requested to make all necessary arrangements in this regard. Earlier, on Friday, all the leaders of the country including PM Modi and President Murmu paid tribute at his residence.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had called Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and appealed to allot space for the memorial of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
