Raipur, January 5 (IANS). Four Naxalites have been killed in an encounter by security forces on the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts of Chhattisgarh. Whereas in this encounter, a head constable of District Reserve Guard (DRG) Sannu Karam was also martyred. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave a statement regarding the encounter of security forces with Naxalites in Narayanpur. He also condemned the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar.
While talking to the media, CM said that our soldiers are fighting with great strength. Four Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. We salute our soldiers. However, one of our soldiers was also martyred in this encounter. Have sympathy for them. Praying to God to grant peace to his soul.”
On the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar, CM said that the murder of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar is very condemnable. His dead body has been found. The government is taking action. SIT has been formed in this case. Three accused have been arrested. No accused will be spared. The contractor’s bank account has been sealed. The illegal encroachment of the contractor has also been removed.
Apart from this, he took a dig at the Congress and said that the goods of hatred are being sold continuously in the Congress’s love shop in the state. Whatever incidents have taken place in the past few days, be it in Balodabazar or Surajpur, everywhere some person from Congress is involved. The contractor involved in the murder of the journalist is a Congress worker.
According to the media report, the officer said that on Saturday evening, a joint team of STF security personnel along with DRG of Narayanpur, Dantewada, Jagdalpur, Kondagaon districts had gone to a forest in South Abujhmad on the border of Narayanpur and Dantewada districts in an anti-Naxal operation. . When the Naxalites saw themselves surrounded by security forces, they opened fire on them. After this the soldiers also started retaliating. According to the information, firing is still going on in the area.
