New Delhi, September 7 (IANS). ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murti Morya’ Today the whole country is celebrating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj went to Siddhivinayak Temple in Sarojini Nagar, Delhi and worshiped Bappa.
Today, Ganpati Bappa is being installed in pandals and homes across the country. Ganesh Chaturthi festival has special significance in Hinduism. On this occasion, leaders of political parties are also reaching the temple to seek blessings of Lord Ganesha.
BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj reached Siddhivinayak temple on Saturday. She worshiped Lord Ganesha and wished everyone on this special festival.
She said that today I have come to Shri Siddhivinayak Temple to seek the blessings of Vighnaharta. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I pray to Lord Ganesha to fill everyone’s life with happiness.
The BJP MP said that I pray to Vighnaharta to remove the sorrows of all the countrymen. May he bring happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone’s life, this is my auspicious wish. She also chanted slogans of Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murti Morya.
Let us tell you that the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month is very special. Because according to Ganesha Purana, Lord Ganapati was born on the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month, in the Chitra Nakshatra during the afternoon.
According to legend, Goddess Parvati created Lord Ganesha from her Ubtan. That day was the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated every year on this day. The 10-day long Ganeshotsav is celebrated not only in India but all over the world.
On this special day, Ganpati Bappa is established and then he is worshipped with full rituals. In Hinduism, Lord Ganesha is the destroyer of obstacles and the first to be worshipped and is a symbol of auspiciousness. There is a belief in Hinduism that worshipping Lord Ganpati on this day removes all troubles. It is believed that by keeping a fast and worshipping on Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganpati Bappa fulfills all wishes.
