Opener Shubman Gill, who played an important role in getting India a key to the Champions Trophy semi -finals, has strengthened his position at the top of the ICC one -day batting rankings.
Gill scored an unbeaten 101 against Bangladesh and 46 against Pakistan. He got 21 rating points from this and now he has 817 rating points. Pakistan’s Babar Azam is now 47 points behind him in second place, while earlier this difference was 23 points.
Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 100 against Pakistan, has moved to fifth place while KL Rahul has come to 15th place.
New Zealand’s Will Young, who scored a century against Pakistan, has come to the 14th and Tom Latham has come to the 30th position to 30th. At the same time, Rachin Ravindra is now at the 24th position by climbing 18 places.
