Today, on his birth anniversary, the entire country is remembering him as a great son of Mother India and a national-spiritual guru and expressing gratitude for his contribution.
National religion should be supreme for everyone
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when Swami Vivekananda put Indian Sanatan values on the global stage in the Chicago Summit, the world became mesmerized and emotional after listening to his statement. While making everyone aware, Swami ji had said that Sanatan Dharma is the oldest religion. Every Indian should feel proud on this. Swamiji teaches that we all should have only one religion, Rashtradharma. He said that if India followed the ideas of Swami Vivekananda, it did not take time for the country to become independent. The Chief Minister said that today everyone takes the name of Swami Vivekananda but how would the leftists accept a Sanyasi who proclaimed Hindutva. Swami Vivekananda’s ideas have always been accepted by Saraswati Shishu Mandir. There is a long chain of Saraswati Shishu temples across the country to carry forward the ideas of Swamiji.

CM Yogi said that Swami Vivekananda believed that the more difficult the challenge, the more glorious the victory will be if you work hard for it. According to him there is no substitute for hard work. Following the ideals of Swamiji and facing difficult challenges, India has today become the fifth largest economy in the world and is moving towards becoming the third economy. This will increase per capita income, usher in a new era of education, health and infrastructure. India will become the hub of global technology. There will be happiness on every face in the country. The Chief Minister said that in order to enable the youth to adapt to the times as per the ideals of Swamiji, tablets and smartphones are being provided to 2 crore youth under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme.
Nanaji Deshmukh started Saraswati Shishu Mandir from Gorakhpur.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Saraswati Shishu Mandir was started by Nanaji Deshmukh in Gorakhpur to impart education as per the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and to awaken the spirit of nationalism. He said that today important work has been done in tribal areas also through these education temples. If the then governments had done these things in time, there would not have been this situation of anarchy today. The Chief Minister said that today the foundation stone of a park in the name of Nanaji Deshmukh has been laid. He said that the model of rural development and development of forest areas given by Nanaji Deshmukh is exemplary even today.

Foundation stone of Nanaji Deshmukh Park
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of the construction work of Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh Park being developed by the Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs 172 lakh in Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar Colony. After laying the foundation stone of the park amid Vedic chanting, the Chief Minister also planted the Rudraksh sapling.
This park will be constructed in an area of 1800 square meters and after completion, a life-size statue of Nanaji Deshmukh will also be installed in it. On the occasion of the foundation stone laying ceremony of the park, the Chief Minister also visited the 3D gallery of its proposed model.
