New Delhi, September 14 (IANS). The ‘Mahakumbh Book’ was released on Saturday at the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts in the country’s capital Delhi. Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla attended the event.
Speaking to IANS before attending the program, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla reacted to the ongoing mosque dispute in Himachal. He said that the government is doing its work on the mosque dispute and the people are also doing their work.
Apart from this, on being asked about the program, he said that the book which is to be released is based on the words and sermons of Kumbh. He said that Kumbh is definitely the soul of India, the people who have expressed their views in this book have done so after seeing, learning and gaining something from the Kumbh book. I think that something can be said completely only after reading this book.
This program was organized by Divya Prem Seva Mission.
Dr. Ashish Gautam, President of Divya Prem Seva Mission, said that Divya Prem Seva Mission is a chapter inspired voluntary service organization and serves on the basis of the life values of Sanatan Dharma. It camps in every Kumbh, especially serves leprosy patients from Haridwar. There is a tradition of lectures in every Kumbh, on the basis of which the lectures given by scholars in the 2019 Kumbh have been compiled in the form of a book today.
He further said that this book was released by Himachal Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and senior journalist Ram Bahadur Rai, who is also the chairman of Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts. This book has been released by Divya Prem Seva Mission for the country and for the society. Kumbh 2025 will be held in Prayagraj from 12 January to 22 February. The main bathing festival of Mauni Amavasya will be on 29 January. This time about 30 crore people are expected to come here, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is making arrangements in that direction.
