Government should not object to agitating peacefully: Dimple Yadav

Mainpuri, 11 April (IANS). Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav gave his response on the protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025 on Thursday. He told reporters that if the movement is with restraint and peace, I do not think the government would have some objections.

On the opposition of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, Dimple Yadav said, “If the movement is restrained and peacefully, I do not understand that the government should have objections, because it is our constitutional right. I understand that somewhere else people (Uttar Pradesh) are feeling hurt by the attitude of the government. The government is working to write the FIR. Has been. “

On the extradition of the 26/11 terrorist attack, Tehwwur Rana’s extradition, Dimple Yadav said, “It is a good thing. Now it will take strict action. But why it takes so many years to bring the accused? The 11th year of this government is going on. The Bharatiya Janata Party government is a big question mark somewhere. Now we have full action.”

On the statement of BJP MLA Sangeet Som running Ram Gopal Yadav and beaten, Dimple Yadav said, “It shows that the people of the Bharatiya Janata Party do not want the country to run according to the constitution. They want to run the country arbitrarily. It is in his dictionary that he will beat, kill, run bulldozers, torture people.”

On the remarks made by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav said, “If the leader of any party who holds a constitutional post and then makes such comments, it reflects his party’s thinking and mentality. Shows what his character is. What is his character. It is very condemnable to make such objectionable comments. They should talk thoughtfully next time.”
