Rae Bareli, September 13 (IANS). Amid the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leader Dolly Sharma has taken a dig at Jammu and Kashmir Governor Manoj Sinha. She said, the governor should open his eyes, because, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are committing suicide today.
I think LG is living in some anonymous world, who does not know the condition of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He does not know the condition of the women of Jammu and Kashmir. He does not know what is going on in the government departments of Jammu and Kashmir.
They got their relatives recruited in the universities here. They implemented the contract system here. They gave jobs to people from outside. This made the people here unemployed. They need to open their eyes and know the ground reality here.
The youth of Jammu and Kashmir are committing suicide. They are turning to drugs. The people here are in distress and are demanding their rights.
He said that the people here know their rights. They are not going to be fooled by anyone. He said that we are fighting the elections with full strength and will form the government.
Dolly Sharma said, we have very few seats. Out of these, we have given ticket to one woman. BJP had 90 assembly seats, but they gave ticket to only one woman.
If BJP talks about 33 percent reservation for women, then why did they not start it in Jammu and Kashmir.
Let us tell you that the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases. Assembly elections are being held here for the first time after the abolition of Article 370.
While the BJP is contesting all 90 assembly seats on its own, the Congress and National Conference are in the fray in alliance.
