Ahmedabad, December 10 (IANS). The Dandi March was started on Tuesday by the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Gujarat. During this, State Education Minister Prafulla Pansheriya was also present. Who said that this journey is for rising above casteism and for nationalism.
Education Minister Prafulla Pansheriya wished the NCC cadets all the best for this journey.
Speaking to IANS, Pansheriya said, “I salute the young men and women who have traveled to Gujarat for this new experiment. This will send a good message to the whole of India and this is for nationalism, above casteism, provincialism, linguism. Today we are one and will convey the message of unity through this journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. I am proud that PM Modi is giving a new direction to the country in that lit yagya. This idea will be very useful and useful.”
The BJP leader said, “The yatra will be successful, the youth will give up addictions, will stop using social media excessively. Will live with their parents in a cultured and disciplined manner.”
On Tuesday, cadets set out on a 410 kilometer march from Ahmedabad to Dandi in Gujarat. The main objective of this yatra is to keep the spirit of freedom struggle and Satyagraha alive in the hearts of the people for the independence of the country. Along with this, the aims and values of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi have to be revived. Under this, efforts will be made to keep the youth away from addiction and refresh the memories related to the freedom movement.
Let us tell you that cadets from Gujarat and Dadar Nagar Haveli are participating in this march. 40 cadets will follow the routes of the Dandi March. This yatra, which started from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad on 10th December, will end at Dandi Salt Satyagraha Memorial, Navsari on 23rd December. In this 410 kilometer long trek, a distance of about 30 to 40 kilometers will be covered daily. Cadets will stay at 12 different places like Ashrams, Gurukuls, Schools and Colleges. Cadets will wear Khadi clothes during the entire journey.
