Gyanvapi case is pending in court, CM Yogi's comment is illegal: SP spokesperson Manoj Yadav

Lucknow, September 14 (IANS). UP CM Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement regarding the Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi. He has said that unfortunately today people call it ‘mosque’ in other words, but that Gyanvapi is actually ‘Vishwanath’.

After this statement of CM Yogi, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Manoj Yadav said that, this matter is still under consideration, but if you win, do not break it. Sit in it and worship. But how will you believe me? I remember you were saying in the same way in Ayodhya that it was a temple, later it was broken. You know better what you made after breaking it. You also made it a leakage temple. You people call Taj Mahal Tejo Mahalaya. There are so many things on which you yourself call it controversial and this statement is also controversial.

He further said that, after taking oath of a constitutional post, how can you comment on the cases going on in the judiciary. With what authority can you do so? You are the Chief Minister, not the law of this country. The law applies to you only to the extent of your scope. One should refrain from commenting on the matters which are pending in the court. My question is that if everything is the same then why do they demolish it, it is a heritage, heritage is not demolished, it is preserved. But people with bulldozers are found doing such acts.

On the controversy over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s foreign tour, he said that the government people should speak very carefully. If Rahul Gandhi is saying something against the country, first of all the government should take strict action, an FIR should be filed against him. Nothing will be achieved by talking without reason. There is no basis for it. Indian law does not allow defaming any person. If any person or any organization has spoken ill of the country, then file an FIR, otherwise apologize.

For the last ten days, the media and BJP of India have been engaged in such talks. If anyone is filled with shamelessness, impudence, and dishonour, then its name is the Bharatiya Janata Party and all this is in their leaders. You will have to answer for what Rahul Gandhi has said. You cannot snatch the right to ask questions from anyone. Now when the power changes in the whole country, then Rahu Kaal, Ketu Kaal is going to come upon the BJP. After losing power, the BJP leaders will go to jail. We defeated them in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, now we will defeat them in the upcoming assembly elections. When our government is formed, the bulldozer will definitely be pointed towards Gorakhpur. This is absolutely clear.
