Haryana News Desk !!! BJP on Wednesday released the first list of 67 candidates for Haryana Assembly Elections 2024. There has been a stampede in the party since the release of the first list. Riots have been seen in Rania, Meham, Thanesar, Uklana, Prithla, Rewari, Ratia, Badhra since the release of the first list. Outgoing MLA Ranjit Chautala held a meeting with supporters. He had already hinted at rebellion in case of ticket being cut. BJP MLA from Ratia Laxman Napa has resigned from the primary membership of the party after his ticket was cut. He will join the Congress party. He himself has confirmed this on social media. Shamsher Singh Kharkhra, BJP’s 2019 candidate from Meham seat in Rohtak district, BJP Kisan Morcha district president Vikas alias Bhalle from Charkhi Dadri district have also resigned. Apart from this, Sonipat district vice-president Sanjeev Valecha has said goodbye to the party.
Rebellion in Sonipat-Hisar too
After former JJP MLA Anoop Dhanak got the ticket from Hisar’s Uklana seat, disgruntled Shamsher Gill and former candidate Seema Gaibipur also left the party. After Kamal Gupta got the ticket from Hisar, BJP district vice-president Tarun Jain has decided to leave the party. He had already announced this. In Sonipat, BJP Purvanchal Cell co-convenor Sanjay Thekedar has also announced to leave the BJP.
Many leaders are angry over giving tickets to party hoppers
Kavita Jain can also rebel from Sonipat. She is preparing to contest the election as an independent. Kavita Jain is the wife of former CM Manoharlal Khattar’s OSD Rajiv Jain. As soon as the BJP list was released, the old leaders of the party are said to be angry. It includes many former ministers and MLAs. Apart from this, the party has also given a chance to 11 turncoats. In such a situation, if the party does not stop the rebel leaders from contesting the elections, then the party may face a big setback in its attempt to score a hat-trick.
