Haryana Election 2024: Just before the voting to be held on Saturday for the assembly elections in Haryana, BJP has suffered a major setback. Two days before voting, former MP and Dalit leader Ashok Tanwar has returned to Congress. During the rally organized by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Mahendragarh, Ashok Tanwar announced his return to Congress.
Ashok Tanwar was a member of BJP’s campaign committee and star campaigner in Haryana but he changed his name before voting. Ashok Tanwar has been a veteran Congress leader in the past too but he had resigned from the party expressing his displeasure over some issues. Now he has returned home once again. Ashok Tanwar has been considered a big Dalit face in Haryana. In such a situation, his return to Congress is being considered a big blow for BJP.
