Voting has started for Haryana Assembly Elections 2024, which will take place at 6 pm. 1031 candidates are trying their luck on 90 assembly seats and more than 2 crore voters will decide their fate. The election results will be declared on October 8. Congress, BJP, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are in the electoral fray. Congress is contesting the elections in alliance with CPIM, JJP with Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (ASP) and INL with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). 225 companies of security forces along with 30,000 policemen are deployed at every nook and corner.
Krishnapal Gurjar claimed BJP’s hat-trick
Union Minister Krishnapal Gurjar has claimed that BJP government is going to be formed in Haryana for the third time. BJP has given transparent and honest governance. For the first time, the people of Haryana have seen a government providing development and good governance. Earlier in Haryana, ministers used to go to jail every day. The people of Haryana have faith in BJP as well as Modi.
Manohar Lal Khattar claimed victory
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar arrived to cast his vote for Haryana elections. He cast his vote at a polling booth in Karnal. He says that people should vote today. The administration has made all the arrangements and the elections will be held peacefully. BJP is confident of winning the elections and we will form the government for the third time in the state.
Kuldeep Bishnoi cast his vote
After casting the vote, BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi said that BJP will form the government for the third time with full majority. There is a good atmosphere in favor of the party. Here Congress has made an outsider a candidate. Bhavya Bishnoi (his son and BJP candidate from Adampur seat) has done a good job here. More than 2 crore voters and 1031 candidates
This time 1031 candidates are trying their luck in the Haryana Assembly elections. There are 930 male candidates, 101 female candidates and 462 independent candidates. Among the independent candidates, there are 421 male and 41 female candidates. 2.03 crore voters will cast their votes today. Of these, about 1.07 crore are male voters. There are about 95 lakh women voters here. There are 467 third gender voters. There are about 5.24 lakh youth voters here. There are 1.49 lakh disabled voters. Among these, there are 93.5 thousand male voters, 55.5 thousand female voters and 6 third gender voters. There are 2.31 lakh voters above 85 years of age. Among these there are also 89.9 thousand male voters. There are 1.41 lakh women voters here. There are 8821 voters above 100 years of age. Of these, 3283 are male and 5538 female voters. There are 1.09 lakh service voters. These include 1.04 lakh men and 4791 women.
8 parties in the fray in Haryana elections
Apart from Congress and BJP, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are also in the electoral fray in Haryana. This time Congress is contesting the elections in alliance with CPIM. Congress has given one seat to CPIM. JJP has formed an alliance with MP Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party (ASP). Enel has an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
