Haryana Election Results: This time in Haryana, a close contest has been seen between BJP and Congress in many assembly constituencies. However, the closest contest was seen in Uchana Kalan assembly constituency of the state. It was considered to be the hottest seat of Haryana. On this seat, BJP candidate Devendra Attri has defeated former Union Minister Birendra Singh’s son and former MP Brijendra Singh by 32 votes. Brijendra Singh had contested the elections on Congress ticket after resigning from BJP.
In the last assembly elections, this seat was won by former Haryana Deputy CM and Jannayak Janta Party leader Dushyant Chautala. Chautala had also contested the elections this time but he lagged behind at sixth position. The current assembly elections are being considered a big setback for Dushyant Chautala, who had won 10 seats in the last assembly elections, because his party’s account could not even be opened.
