New Delhi, Sep 12 (IANS) The Congress released its third list of 40 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections late Wednesday night. It includes Chandermohan from Panchkula, Choudhary Nirmal Singh from Ambala City, Pooja Chaudhary from Mullana (SC), Akram Khan from Jagadhri and Raman Tyagi from Yamuna Nagar.
Congress national general secretary KC Venugopal said the party has fielded Mandeep Singh Chattha from Pahowa, Devinder Hans from Guhla (SC), Vikas Saharan from Kalayat, Aditya Surjewala from Kaithal, Sultan Singh Jadaula from Pundri, Rakesh Kumar Kamboj from Indri, Sumita Virk from Karnal and Virendra Singh Rathore from Gharaunda.
The candidates who have been given tickets are Varinder Kumar Shah from Panipat city, Jai Bhagwan Antil from Rai, Mahabir Gupta from Jind, Balwan Singh Daulatpuria from Fatehabad, Jarnail Singh from Ratia, Gokul Setia from Sirsa and Bharat Singh Beniwal from Ellenabad.
The party has fielded Chander Prakash from Adampur, Rahul Makkar from Hansi, Ramniwas Ghodela from Barwala, Ramniwas Rada from Hisar, Anil Maan from Nalwa, Rajbir Singh Fartiya from Loharu, Sombir Singh (Sheoran) from Badhra, Dr Manisha Sangwan from Dadri, Pradeep Narwal from Bawanikheda (SC), Anita Yadav from Ateli, Rao Narinder Singh from Narnaul, Dr M.L. Ranga from Bawal (SC) and Jagdish Yadav from Kosli.
Pearl Chaudhary from Pataudi (SC), Mohammad Israel from Hathin, Karan Dalal from Palwal, Raghubir Tewatia from Prithla, Vijay Pratap from Badkhal, Parag Sharma from Ballabhgarh and Lakhan Kumar Singla from Faridabad will be the Congress candidates.
The Congress had announced the names of 32 candidates in the first list and nine in the second list. Thus far, it has announced candidates for 81 out of 90 seats. The state will go to polls in a single phase on October 5. The last date for filing nominations is September 12. Counting of votes will take place on October 8.
