Panchkula, October 6 (IANS). The voting process has been completed in the election state Haryana on October 5. Now EVMs have been kept safe in the strong room. After voting in two assembly constituencies of Panchkula district of Haryana, EVMs have been kept in a secure strong room.
In fact, the voting process was completed peacefully on Saturday in two assembly seats of Panchkula, Kalka and Panchkula. After this, Government College of Sector 1 has been made a strong room for Panchkula Assembly and Girls College of Sector 14 has been made a strong room for Kalka Assembly. It is here that the vote counting process will be completed on October 8.
Strict security arrangements have been made here. They are being monitored by state police personnel as well as paramilitary forces and administrative officials. The strong room is also being monitored through CCTV, so that no tampering can be done.
Let us tell you that voting for all 90 seats in the electoral state of Haryana ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party was completed last October. According to the exit poll trends after voting, the main opposition party of the state, Congress, seems to be taking the lead, while BJP seems to be lagging behind.
India Today and ‘C Voters’ have shown BJP winning 20 to 28 seats, while Congress winning 50 to 58 seats. Apart from this, ‘Axis My India’ has estimated BJP to get 18 to 28 seats and Congress to get 53 to 65 seats, Dainik Bhaskar has estimated BJP to get 19 to 29 seats and Congress to get 44 to 54 seats. However, the final results will be known only after the counting of votes on October 8.
