Karnal, October 5 (IANS). Voting is going on in all 90 assembly seats of Haryana, voting will continue till 6 pm. About 2 crore voters of the state will decide the fate of the candidates. Former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal cast his vote at the government school in Prem Nagar, Karnal.
After voting, Manohar Lal while talking to the media claimed to form BJP government in the state. Along with this, he verbally attacked Congress.
During this he said that the seat of Karnal is very good and comfortable. I have contested three consecutive elections from here, two for the Assembly and one for the Lok Sabha. Today our friend Jagmohan is contesting elections from here. As far as Kamal is concerned, our position is strong in the entire Lok Sabha. BJP will register victory on all 9 assembly seats of Karnal Lok Sabha. We have very good workers, who are ready to win this time.
He said that you know how much disappointment there is in the Congress house. His position is well known. Their stress is coming out, and its message is also in the public. There is an effect of this disappointment among the public also. There is tension in Congress between former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Shailja. He emphasized that everyone knows what is in the minds of the public. Election results will be revealed on October 8.
Manohar Lal said that there is an open offer from our side that anyone can join BJP whenever they want. He claimed that this time BJP has performed better in the state than 2014 and won more than 50 seats. For Ashok Tanwar, who left BJP and joined Congress, he said that this is an example of ‘Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram’ politics. He was addressing BJP’s election meeting till afternoon and joined Congress in the evening. Surely something has happened that is not yet clear.
