There was an uproar at the Republic Day celebrations in a school here when the police arrested the headmaster while hoisting the flag in the temple of education. Actually, the headmaster who hoisted the flag on Republic Day in the school was completely drunk. This case clearly reflects the situation of liquor prohibition in Bihar.

This case pertains to Dharampur Middle School located in Meenapur block of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The arrested headmaster has been identified as Sanjay Singh, who has been posted at Middle School Dharampur East for the last three years. It is being told that when the headmaster stood in front of the flag to hoist the flag in the school, he was not even able to stand straight. Even while saluting the tricolor, the headmaster was dancing drunk. Some people also told that during this time the foul smell of alcohol was coming from the mouth of the headmaster.
Police took immediate action
Seeing this condition of the headmaster, the villagers immediately informed the local MLA Munna Yadav and the police. As soon as the information was received, the police took immediate action, reached the spot and arrested the drunken headmaster. When the police investigated, they found that the headmaster had consumed a large amount of alcohol. MLA Munna Yadav said that information was received that the school principal had come to hoist the flag under the influence of alcohol, after which the police arrested him.
