Ranchi, November 1 (IANS). Union Minister of State for Defense and Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth has accused Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren of forging the nomination papers filed for the elections and demanded action against him.
He said that in 2019, Soren had declared his age to be 42 years in the affidavit filed before the Election Commission and five years later in 2024, he declared himself to be 49 years old. This is a direct fraud with the Election Commission.
Addressing a press conference in Ranchi on Friday, Sanjay Seth said that there are more than one ‘magician’ present within the Indie alliance who is pulling dust in the eyes. A magician is one who sometimes claims to make gold from potatoes and sometimes talks about setting up a Jalebi factory. There are other magicians in Jharkhand, who increase their lifespan by seven years in five years. This is sheer fraud.
He said that it is the habit of leaders like Soren to cheat everyone. They have duped the public by talking about giving five lakh jobs to the youth of the state, giving two thousand rupees every month to women in the name of cooking expenses, and giving gold coins in the marriage of girls. Soren had sworn before his father Shibu Soren that if five lakh youth were not given jobs, he would retire from politics. We should ask them what happened to those oaths and promises?
Sanjay Seth claimed that in this election, the people of the state will trust PM Modi’s development journey and his resolutions and form the NDA government in the state. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people towards BJP in the entire state. The countdown of the present false government of the state has started. They have understood that their power is about to go and out of frustration, their people are busy threatening everyone from the businessmen of the state to the BJP workers. BJP leaders and workers are not afraid of this.
He said that in his capacity as the MP of Ranchi, he is claiming that NDA will win all the six seats of this parliamentary constituency.
