Sirmaur, 15 April (IANS). Himachal Pradesh Industries Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan on Monday heard the problems of the people in the Public Works Department rest house of Paonta Sahib and resolved many cases on the spot.
Congress -ruled Himachal Pradesh Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan, led by Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, conducted public hearing. This opportunity was a relief for the people, as he got an opportunity to put his problems directly to the minister. In this public hearing program, people from various panchayats kept issues related to their area, including demands related to road, electricity, water, pension, health facilities and other development works.
Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan instructed the district administration and officials of the concerned departments present on the spot to ensure a time -bound and quality solution to the problems of the public. He said, “The main objective of the state government is that every person should benefit from government schemes and no citizen should be deprived of basic facilities.”
The minister said that he is on a two -day Sirmaur stay. On the previous day, he heard public problems in Shillai assembly constituency and solved them on the spot. He said, “The government is going among the people, establishing dialogue at the grassroots level to understand real problems and make policies more effective.”
He also clarified that the state government is acting as public welfare as paramount and the officials have been instructed that no negligence will be tolerated. He said, “The purpose of his tours is not just inspection, but to know the real problems of the people and solve them.”
Many senior officials, departmental representatives and representatives of local panchayats were present on the occasion. People appreciated this effort of the minister and said that this kind of public hearing gives the general public a platform to speak and the trust in the government machinery increases.
