Ranchi, November 10 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party’s co-election in-charge in poll-bound Jharkhand and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma condemned the statement of state CM Hemant Soren. In the capital Ranchi, state Chief Minister Hemant Soren hit back at the sarcasm in which he had said that Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken a bet to oust the government.
While talking to the journalists, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that I am trying to change the government, it is true. But words like contract and contract do not suit the mouth of a Chief Minister. In such a situation, I would request him to say this, but not to use words like betel nut. He said that this government is working for change, I will have no objection to this.
Apart from this, on the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the party has become an ATM machine of the royal families in the Congress ruled state, and I will not allow Maharashtra to become an ATM machine. On this, Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed support and said that everyone should accept what Prime Minister Modi has said. Whatever PM Modi says, he does not say it without information. Today Karnataka has become an ATM machine, everyone in politics is aware of this.
Apart from this, on the Income Tax Department raid at the house of his personal secretary Sunil Srivastava, Hemant Soren had said that such action is being taken deliberately before the elections. On this, CM Sarma said that I do not care which agency is taking action.
Let us inform that earlier on Saturday, the Income Tax Department team had raided the houses of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s personal secretary Sunil Srivastava and people associated with him. According to sources, this action was taken on the basis of information regarding illegal cash flow and transfer of funds through hawala in the elections.
Elections will be held in two phases for 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. The first phase of voting is on November 13 and the second phase of voting is on November 20, while the election results will be revealed on November 23.
