During the interaction with the media, SSP Abhishek Singh said that today Holi celebrations and prayers in Muzaffarnagar took place together. We were fully prepared and both festivals were celebrated peacefully. Meetings were already held with the Peace Committee. We had requested that the prayers of Jumme, which are at 1 pm, should be increased to two o’clock. Everyone agreed to this. People are coming out by offering prayers. In view of the safety of the prayers of Holi and Jumme, we divided the district into 8 zones. We called a company of RF for security. Police personnel were stationed at the major intersections of the district. Continuous patrolling was done. It is to be known that the prayers of Holi and Jumme were on the same day on Friday. Recently, statements were revealed from many political parties. From the mayor of Darbhanga to the CO of Sambhal, the statements made about Holi. Politics had intensified with him. However, Holi and Jumme prayers have been done in a peaceful manner across the country. People expressed their happiness by sharing posts on social media about Holi. In the colors of Holi, people also fiercely danced on the songs of Holi. Here, on the other hand, senior police personnel also took to the streets to wish the policemen on duty on duty.
