New Delhi, 31 January (IANS). Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Thursday released the book “Indian Renaissance: The Modi Decade” in the national capital.

Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal, Rajya Sabha MP Karthikeya Sharma, book editor Aishwarya Pandit and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Union Home Minister Shah said that in the last 10 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure has started the end of an era and a new era. He emphasized that whenever the history of India is re -written, PM Modi’s staunch critics will also accept these 10 years in golden letters.

He said that in 2014 India entered a new era, after three decades, a stable government was found, which led to success in every part of the country.

Union Minister Shah said that this change has been interpreted in various ways, a foreign newspaper even wrote that India got independence on August 15, 1947, but in 2014, the country led by PM Modi, the country is true. I got rid of colonial effects.

He said that our country had gained independence from a long period of colonial rule on 15 August 1947.

He further stated that India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, which is known for its openness – whether it is a matter of adopting new ideas, welcoming foreign nationals or accepting various languages yes.

Home Minister Shah said that India is the only country in the world that has adopted many civilizations, revised its traditions and continued its journey, preserving its essence.

He emphasized that India is unique in its ability to maintain many languages, cultures, dialects and religions, which progress together as a nation, co-existence with mutual respect.

Talking to the media, the editor of the book Aishwarya Pandit said, “If you look around you will see change … I have tried to put the changes in the last 10 years on paper. But also noticed. “

Home Minister Amit Shah further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there have been many improvements in various fields, which has accelerated the overall development. He highlighted that the size and scale of every region had expanded to a great extent.

He emphasized that no one could even imagine that India would manage the crisis the most efficiently during the world’s largest epidemic Kovid-19. Through the use of technology, the country successfully vaccinated its 1.3 billion population and provided vaccination certificates uninterruptedly.

He also said that India was one of the first countries to develop the Kovid-19 vaccine and was supplied to more than 100 countries.

Amit Shah said that the history of India in future will be divided into three different parts. The first part “India before independence and post -independence India”, the second part “will be a pre -emergency India and the post -Emergency India” and the third part “India before PM Modi and India after PM Modi” .

He emphasized that when a leader guides his country with hard work, dedication, clean heart and visionary attitude, history cannot ignore him.

Union Minister Shah highlighted that during the 25th and 50th anniversary of India’s independence, the programs were mainly held in schools, panchayats and government buildings, and resolutions were passed in the Legislative Assembly and Parliament.

However, the 75th anniversary of independence was celebrated on a very large scale, despite the challenges of the Kovid-19 epidemic, more than eight million programs were organized.

He credited PM Modi to ensure that the new generation to know about the freedom movement from 1857 to 1947 and the anonymous heroes of freedom got their due respect.

He said that PM Modi encouraged the country to be proud of his achievements of the last 75 years and inspired the citizens to be committed to make India a fully developed nation by 15 August 2047.

Union Minister Shah said that Prime Minister Modi has set a clear goal to make India a fully developed nation by 2047. He said that what started as the Prime Minister’s resolution has now become a collective aspiration of 130 crore Indians. He expressed confidence that the youth of India would be inspiring power to make the country number one global power by 2047, he said that PM Modi believes that if every Indian moves one step ahead, the country will move 130 million steps ahead.

Referring to the Kovid-19 epidemic, Home Minister Shah reminded how the whole country followed PM Modi’s call for ‘Janata Curfew’ and stayed inside the house. He compared this response to the public’s response to the appeal of the fast made by former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, showing that it was one of the rare moments when citizens followed a leader’s call with all the hearts. Union Home Minister Shah said that to understand PM Modi’s visit in true sense, one should look forward to his tenure from 2001 to 2025 and consider his 40 -year term before that.

He described PM Modi as a person who has always given priority to the welfare of others and has never used public money for personal benefit. Shah praised PM Modi for implementing adventure reforms and taking strict decisions, which the public has consistently supported, due to which he has repeatedly won the electoral victory.

Home Minister Shah said that the last 10 years of PM Modi’s leadership serve as the foundation of the next 25 years of India, known as “Amrit Kaal”.

Amit Shah highlighted various welfare initiatives including home, gas connections, toilets, drinking water, free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh and other benefits including five kg free food grains.

He credited PM Modi for starting revolutionary changes in both Gujarat and Delhi. Union Home Minister Shah emphasized that the achievements of PM Modi have been recognized worldwide.

He also said that PM Modi is the only global leader today, who has been awarded the highest civilian awards from 16 different countries.

Comparing PM Modi to Mahatma Gandhi, Shah said that after the father’s father, PM Modi is the only leader who has given priority to cleanliness at the national level and has ensured the construction of toilets in 13 crore homes.

Considering the progress of the country in the last decade, he said that 10 years ago, India’s rule was marked by policy paralysis, while today it is defined by “demonstration politics”.

He expressed confidence that by 2047 India would be fully developed, dominated the global stage and maintain its deep cultural and national identity.
