Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at Jorhat on Friday for a three -day visit to AMS and Mizoram. Aam Aadmi Party Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with his entire cabinet warmly welcomed Amit Shah at Jorhat Airport.

What is Amit Shah’s plan?

Posting on the social media platform X, the CM of Assam said, “We warmly welcome Honorable Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Jorhat Airport on the holy land of Assam.” After reaching Jorhat, Home Minister left for Dergaon, the nearby city of Golaghat district.

Officials said that Amit Shah will inaugurate the police academy on Saturday, whose first phase has been completed at a cost of Rs 167.4 crore. Amit Shah will also lay the foundation stone of the second phase of Police Academy, which will cost Rs 425.48 crore. After this, Home Minister will leave for Mizoram.

Which programs will you participate in Mizoram?

In Mizoram, Amit Shah will attend the program organized to transfer the Assam Rifles establishments to Jokhawasang, about 15 km from Aizawl, about 15 km from the state capital. Officials said that Amit Shah will return to Guwahati on Saturday evening and take a night’s rest in the state guest house in Koinadhora area. On Sunday morning, Amit Shah will leave for Dotma in Kokrajhar district to address the 57th annual conference of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU). The program will be attended by the Chief Minister of the state, Pramod Boro, Chief Minister, MP and prominent stakeholders of the state Chief Minister, Bodoland Territorial Area (BTR).
