Jammu, September 26 (IANS). Rajya Sabha MP and veteran Congress leader Rajiv Shukla had a special conversation with IANS on Thursday. During this, he gave his reaction regarding adulteration in the prasad of Tirupati Balaji temple of Andhra Pradesh.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Shukla said that if there was a Congress government and at that time such things had come to light that fish oil and ghee made from animal fat had been used in the Prasad, then how much ruckus would the Bharatiya Janata Party have created? But now the curd has frozen in the mouth of BJP leaders and no one is giving any statement. They neither see Sanatan Dharma, nor God, nor Hindu religion.
The Congress leader further said that saints and sages are protesting on the streets regarding this issue. But, people of Bharatiya Janata Party are not talking about Tirupati at all. Earlier, BJP was running the government with the support of Jagan Reddy’s government, against whom allegations were made. Now Chandrababu Naidu’s government is accused, BJP has also taken support from him. In such a situation, the people of BJP are only busy in running their government and hence are not taking any action and are sitting silent.
He further said that if the Central Government had been pro-Hindu or pro-Sanatan, it would have conducted an investigation in this matter and punished the culprits. In such a situation, the people of BJP neither have faith in Hindu religion, nor in Sanatan nor in Tirupati. Now the issue of adulteration in Prasad is coming to light in Jagannathpuri also. There is also a BJP government there. BJP misleads people just for votes and pretends to be religious. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has said in very strong words that this is a very serious matter, action should be taken on it.
It is noteworthy that recently the issue of use of ghee made from animal fat in the Prasad of Tirupati Balaji Temple in Andhra Pradesh came to light, due to which politics has become heated. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan had raised the demand for forming ‘Sanatan Rakshak Board’ at the national level.
