Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he was proud that all -party delegations presented India’s views in various countries in a strong manner when the Pahalgam attack and the need to end the problem of terrorism after the ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Modi hosted members of all -party delegations traveling to the capitals of 33 countries, including MPs and former diplomats.
The Prime Minister said in a post on ‘X’, “I met members of various delegations representing India in various countries and discussed in detail the need to end India’s commitment to peace and the need to end the threat of terrorism.” The way he carried forward the voice of India, we are all proud of it. ”
The members shared their experiences with the Prime Minister. The central government has already praised the work of seven delegations with more than 50 persons, which included most of the current MPs.
Former MPs and former diplomats were also part of these delegations, who visited 33 foreign capitals and European Union.
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has already met delegations and has appreciated his efforts in expressing India’s tough stance against Pakistan -sponsored terrorism.
Srikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena said in a post on ‘X’, “We informed the Prime Minister of India’s firm fight against terrorism and our unwavering commitment to global peace.”
Shinde led the delegation to the United Arab Emirates, Congo, Sierra Leone and Liberia. He said, “The Prime Minister appreciated our efforts and shared his inspiring attitude to increase India’s stature on the world stage. His words have inspired us to work tirelessly for the nation. ”
The four delegations were led by MPs of the ruling coalition, including two BJP, one MP from JD (U), while three were led by opposition MPs including Congress, DMK and Nakapa (Sharadchandra Pawar).
Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda of BJP, Shashi Tharoor of Congress, Sanjay Jha of JD (U), Srikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena, Kanimoi of DMK and Supriya Sule of NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) led their delegation in different parts of the world.
The government had sent an all -party delegation to convey the message of national unity in the fight against terrorism, in which people like Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi were with members of the ruling coalition to advocate India’s interests abroad.
The delegations included former Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and Salman Khurshid.
