New Delhi, 4 April (IANS). Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday said on a comment by Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in the House that he is the son of the farmer and the farmer of this country is not afraid of anyone.
After the Waqf Amendment Bill was passed in the Rajya Sabha, around 2.30 pm, Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented the constitutional resolution on President’s rule in February in Manipur to discuss. On this, Kharge requested that this discussion can be held in the next meeting of the House as it has been quite a night.
The Congress leader made some comments about this, which was immediately removed from the proceedings of the House. Responding to Kharge’s comment, he said that the farmer of India and the son of the farmer is not afraid of anyone, under no circumstances he is afraid.
After this, Kharge started discussing constitutional resolution.
Shortly after, Kharge was still speaking that the Chairman started getting up from the posture and Deputy Chairman Harivansh came to his place to conduct the action. On this, Kharge said to the Chairman, “Sir, if you go, our whole passion will go away.”
On this comment of Kharge, Deputy Chairman Harivansh laughed and questioned, “The passion was reduced when I arrived?”
In response, Kharge pointed to the members of the ruling party and said, “No, your fix is, once you sit, then you see there.”
On this, Deputy Chairman said, “I only see you.”
